WHY CETUS

ESG

Already on the journey towards more sustainable business practices, Cetus Maritime is determined to make a difference in this area. We’re working hard on making our shipping practices CO2 and GHG neutral, and have a focus on reducing all emissions across our fleet. To do this, we are taking the following steps:

Fleet renewal

Cetus is actively updating and upgrading its fleet. Our latest acquisitions are all EEXI/CII ‘A’ rated, and we are constantly evaluating both the existing fleet and potential additions for their technical and energy efficiencies.

Collaboration

We work with both customers towards decarbonising the supply chain together. We also engage with our counterparts and industry bodies to educate ourselves, participate in the conversation and drive momentum towards decarbonisation.

Management Meeting

Evaluation

We continually evaluate our fleet’s performance in terms of carbon and GHG emissions, looking for ways to increase fuel efficiency, reduce ballast legs, and reduce emissions. We have increased our hull cleaning and dry docking schedules to reduce drag and increase performance, while also improving marine environmental impacts.
